St.Thomas School Independence Day Celebration-2011
Independence Day was celebrated with the hoisting of the tricolour followed by the singing of the National Anthem, a prayer by the school Chaplain, Revd. George Lazar, and a speech by the Principal, Rodrick Rajive Lal. Two girls then delivered a speech on the occasion of Independence Day. The second phase of the celebrations started with the planting of a tree in memory of Hitten, a student of the school who was snatched away from us in a tragedy. Thereafter, a tree plantation drive took place in which all the students and staff participated. Because of the tragedy involving one of our students, we could not have the customary cultural programme. I have pasted below some of the photographs taken on the occasion:

ReplyDeleteWell friends it was a nice time I had with you, but then I guess it was too good to last. Now you have a new principal and I hope he takes the school to greater heights! Best of Luck all of you!
